Many of you have probably heard of the book “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.”

British professor Clive Staples Lewis wrote the book, which was published in 1950. It is the first volume in The Chronicles of Narnia series and has become a classic of children’s literature.

However, few people know that C.S. Lewis was not only a writer of children’s books. He was also a theologian, with works on spiritual themes. Lewis is well-known as an apologist who defends Christianity based on logical arguments.

Mere Christianity is one of C.S. Lewis’s most famous works. It consists of four books, in which the author seeks to dispel people’s doubts about the existence of God and the belief that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to save the world. The book begins with a logical argument for the existence of God and then proceeds to examine the core foundations on which the Christian faith is built.
